Edenville Township is a general law township as defined by Michigan Law. The Edenville Township government is conducted by a township board consisting of five members—a supervisor, clerk, treasurer, and two trustees.

The regular meetings of the 'Township Board are held on the first Tuesday of each month (except July) at the Swanton Hall as listed on the Township Calendar.
