Curbside Recycling Survey – Response deadline 2:00 p.m. February 14, 2017

The Edenville Township Board is seeking input from residents on whether or not to implement a monthly, curbside recycling program.  This comes as a result of the huge success of the community recycle bin currently located at the Swanton Memorial Center.

Year one curbside recycling cost would be approximately $24,000.  By contract, the cost would go up 2.5% each year.  The special assessment for solid waste pick up for each parcel is currently $115.00/year.  The additional cost for curbside recycling will be approximately $21.00/parcel in the first year and would apply to each parcel with an assessment whether or not they choose to participate in the recycling program.   Please let us know your preference; yes or no.

We plan to vote on this at the February 14 Board meeting so your input is important!  Please call the office at 989-689-3655 and let us know your choice; yes or no.  You may also send an email to with your thoughts.

This would be a once a month pick up and each resident would receive a cart similar to what they have for solid waste.
